When we moved to Bing Court, I was above the age of "dollies" and beetle-catching (and I think graceful Suzanne was banned from being anywhere within 10 feet of Madeline's beautiful roses), but she was always so sweet and fun to talk to.

Thanks for bringing back the memories of her and sharing your love for her (and her love for you). She turned 80 today. She is the closest thing I have ever had to a big sister, and I know I will not have her for much longer. It hurts to think of it even now.kenjuhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07342414519714356343noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-378074098323574416.post-76644909962413777632007-01-31T21:29:00.000+00:002007-01-31T21:29:00.000+00:00Japanese Beatle soup. Knowing what I do about cancer, I might take a short cut to the end if I ever get one of the bad ones.utenzihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15988445461413550750noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-378074098323574416.post-28568369226325443462007-01-31T21:18:00.000+00:002007-01-31T21:18:00.000+00:00I loved this post.
