Re your comment: when mr. kenju told me that he had a job offer in Raleigh (lo, so many years ago), our only knowledge of it was from hearing Andy say he had to go over to Raleigh on police business, or the YMCA on Hillsborough St. We had NO idea what to expect! Of course, when we moved here (1969) it was a sleepy little burg. Just look at it now!!

I love how friends can reach out from anywhere and make you smile. Ever since I set up Google Talk (instant messaging) on my BlackBerry, blogfriends from everywhere seem to have developed this sixth sense about sending me snippets whenever I reeeeeally need 'em.
