This morning I got stopped on Main Street in downtown littletownIlivein.
Stopped by a police officer, who stopped traffic going both ways, then helped a guy push his broken down car across and down the street to the mechanics shop.
Everyone stopped, not one horn honked, and I saw the police officer and broken down car guy smile and shake hands with each other when the task was done.
Have I mentioned lately, how much I love living here?

i bet broken down car guy taped a thank you note to the cop's front door...
:D
How cool is that?
I'm jealous.
I spent today just outside of Philly where people don't act like that.
I wish I lived there too.
Your town is awesome.
Any town that has a PT Cruiser for a POLICE CAR rocks in a very quaint way.
(Yes, it really does.)
Aww, I love niceness. :)
That's the way it's done in Mayberry.
Aw, that's nice. :)
Good to hear about cops serving and protecting for a change, instead of harrassing and annoying.
That's a great story!!! Sounds like Mayberry, LOL....too bad not more places like that anymore. People need to find ways to reach out and help each other again, too much of the other stuff going on these days, ie: road rage, etc...
Can I come visit?
Here in the The Land of Crapulence, aka Lasvegasland, the cops have god complexes because the public is composed of self-important assholes.
You know why what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas? Because no one gives a pig's turd about a bunch of blowhard real estate agents and rude salespeople.
