I"m *So not Paula Deen* BUT

For those of you that asked, and those that didn't, make note of this recipe, it's straight yummy.

1 Ripe Avocado
1/4 cup FF sour cream
Some scallions
2 Tbsp lime juice
salt (to taste)
cumin (to taste)
ground red pepper

2 Tbsp brown sugar
more cumin
salt
black pepper

Combine the top 7 ingredients and set aside
Heat your oven to 400
Combine last 4 ingredients in a bowl and toss 4 chicken breast cutlets in in.
Coat the chicken with sugary/spicy goodness
Heat a skillet and brown chicken a few minutes on each side
Transfer chicken to baking pan and pour skillet leavings into pan.
Cook til done.

Serve with a tablespoon or so of the first 8 ingredients you mixed, and try not to sit down and eat the rest of it with a spoon - I hear someone has done just that..

Enjoy.
Happy weekend people!

ETA - FOR THOSE THAT ARE ASKING - YES, CHOP THE PEELED, DE-PITTED AVOCADO AND ROUGHLY CHOP SMASH WITH THE OTHER INGREDIENTS IN THE FIRST LIST.

How DO you do the avocado? Chopped? I'd like to make this recipe!

Honey? If you're combining the top 8 ingredients, then aren't you putting in the raw chicken with the avocado? :>

And y'all, I've made this recipe, and it's hella serious good. Also, if you use really thin chiz breast pieces you don't even NEED the oven. It's done and done in like 10 minutes, TOPS.

Also, what the hell is WRONG with eating guacamole from a spoon?

I just now realized that I have been leaving the cumin and red peppah outta the guac, and you know what? It tastes just fine. Aamof, I don't season it at ALL, and it's pretty yummy. Also tastes good on fried egg samliches.

My eye is twitching at seeing Brown Sugar and Avocado in the same recipe.

Not in a good way.

Wow. I am printing this and turning it over to Chachi.

We happen to have chicken defrosting in the fridge.

We also happen to have an avacado...

Yum!

Thanks!

I'd never had guacamole on egg samliches (or, ever outside a restaurant) and I concur. Hellatastygood!

Okay, now I dareya to make the following for breakfast:
1. make french toast
2. fry sausage patties
3. make a sammich of it, with a little maple syrup (applied like ketchup)

Full report required.

It's a damn shame but my belly can't handle pepper. I'd so love to try this recipe too. Damn.

Sounds like it would be tasty on a bed of lettuce and tomatoes.

For Utenzi - you should try it without pepper.

You're right, Anne. I could do it with either white pepper or paprika.
